Thanks for the feedback.
I've looked at my widgets and have found it.
In my case, running Jaunty, it is available right of the bat, i didn't
need to "install more widgets" or anything like that (and i've never
done it before...).
For the record, the applet is called memusage, and comes in the
plasma-widget-memusage package.
