previous 2.x series was very slow to open.
I'd also like to add that I had used Koffice initially for it's low
resources and terrific design. However, as too many people that I
communicate with standardized on .doc, that meant that I had to use
OOo in any case. Instead of learning two office suites, I just use OOo
for my own use.
Additionally, I have never asked a question on the Koffice mailing
list, but the OOo mailing list is terrific. They are very newbie
friendly and there are knowledgeable people at all skill levels.
Support is very important to me, and the OOo list is terrific. That
alone makes it my favorite choice now, and I rarely ask questions
anymore.
