KOffice vs. OpenOffice

When I tried it last, it was far less mature than ooo, and I found
that the word processor behaved more like a desktop publisher than a
word processor.
That was a while ago, and you may actually like the framemaker-like
way of doing things.
I'd stick with ooo if you need ms office compatibility.
