Yes, Intrepid only has KDE4 and it is impossible to uninstall dolphin 
without uninstalling many other applications. Maybe you can avoid dolphin 
if you adjust default applications, but I didn't try that. Instead I try 
to get familiar with Xubuntu - just in case I even don't like KDE4 when 
it is finished.
