Can't seam to assign alt+F1 to pop up the kmenu???? [Kubuntu Intrepid alpha 6]

It would appear that on Sep 23, claydoh did say:

Until Willy mentioned it I hadn't even noticed that kooka was
unavailable... But it would have frustrated me soon. Thanks for
mentioning a possible replacement... Thanks!
