That wouldn't have happened:-)
There really is nothing even potentially dangerous about enabling the gutsy
repos. They contain nothing that a user who has upgraded from Gutsy to
Hardy might not already have, and everything that can't run with Hardy gets
superceded by the Hardy packages. I would far rather enable Gutsy repos
than download a single package, and then another to fix a dependency, and
another...
Also, having Gutsy enabled has to be far safer than, say, Medibuntu, and I
heartily recommend Medibuntu, too.
