Sorry WIlly, I thought you were streaming from the net-radio stations.
That has become a favorite of mine. Amarok will still do some net stuff,
even just playing local files. Go through the config and see if any of
them are turned on and turn them off. Look for CDDB entries. Maybe they
aren't resolving and the system slows WAY down?? I take it you're not
streaming. I'd kill off anything that suggests a web connect. I hope
something gives you relief! Do you have browser set to Firefox??
Whatever fixes this will be from out in left-field, no doubt!
