    Hi Yes I have a Brother MFC-440CN witch works great go to
http://solutions.brother.com/linux/sol/printer/linux/cups_drivers.html
    and down load the drivers you will need the LPR and Cupswrapper drivers,
they also have install instructions install the LPR driver first
