Imagine you're at a dinner party conversing with a small group of 
people.  You ask your question to the group.  The conversation, like you 
might imagine, heads in it's own direction based on the inputs of other 
people as well as yourself.  Don't you think it would be rude, ten 
minutes later, to stomp your foot and berate everyone for not promptly 
answering your question and having the audacity to let the topic slide 
off of your desired topic, if only slightly?

Others that might want to know about the whole spectrum of multimedia 
players available or the pros and cons of using Amarok might actually 
benefit from these discussions.  I know I was happy to learn that I 
could run mplayer even when logged in without a gui and get music played 
through my speakers.

If you're going to demand quick pointed answers to your questions, go 
pay for support.
