the "as night falls" pic, i love this one, have it on both KDEs.
i liked the KDE 4.1 default pic, which happens to be the same as the
default background of kdm-kde4, those curves. just amazing
the same file? you mean you want to use your KDE 3.5 pics in KDE4? you
will need to copy them from

$HOME/.kde/share/wallpapers
to
$HOME/.kde4/share/wallpapers
