Kubuntu 8.10: did the updates convert the beta version into the official release?

Dear Everybody

About two weeks ago, I installed the beta version of Kubuntu 8.10
which was available at that moment. I carried out the install 'from
scratch', at a seperate partition. I still have maintained Kubuntu
7.10 at another partition.

However it may be, I have downloaded and installed all the available
updates via 'Adept' up to and including the ones that came in today.
My question is now: did all these update sessions  'automatically'
convert that 8.10 beta configuration into the one which has been
'officially' released yesterday? Or do I need to do anything else to
convert the beta configuration into the one prevailing today?
