problem finding packages to install in intrepid

ksynaptics is the (defunct) gui for the synaptic touch pad :-)  (which you
wouldn't find because it hasn't been included since at least feisty)

Don't think of it as stupid, just another senior moment.  If you're too
young for senior moments ... worry :-)
