problem finding packages to install in intrepid

So install synaptic - I still haven't found a GUI apt manager I like half as
much as kpackage in Corel Linux 1.0, but synaptic almost does the job and I
keep it on my Kubuntu system.

Not a clue - it's just so much easier to use aptitude :-)
