options snd-hda-intel model=ref

run amixer controls

look for Capture Switch and try to run

amixer cset iface=MIXER,name='Capture Switch' on
numid=5,iface=MIXER,name='Capture Switch'
  ; type=BOOLEAN,access=rw------,values=2
  : values=on,on

pay attention to the on,on values

you have to unmute your input/capture device
