cd to the directory where you put the DEBS.  And then ...

cd desktop-integration/ 
sudo dpkg -i openoffice.org3.0-debian-menus_3.0-9354_all.deb

If this doesn't work it doesn't matter a lot.  Then...
cd ..  (back up one to the directory where the DEBS are)
dpkg -i *.deb

That works for me :)
