Open Office 3.0 Impress bullet points broken?

Is anybody Open Office 3.0 presentation software? Specifically, bullet
points in text frames?

Unfortunately I have to use XP at work, and the bullet points facility in
the XP version seems pretty fouled up. I can't get points to go in at all.

When I run version 2.4 with a Kubuntu Hardy VM under vmware, it works just
fine.

If I copy that file back to XP then open it with version 3.0, it places
bullet points from the first line in a text frame, even though it was saved
by the 2.4 version with bullets starting at the second or third paragraph.

Just wondering if anybody else has problems with this.
