Okay, I just installed the EnvyNG and let it install the kernel
automatically and upon reboot it complained
that there were multiple version of the module.  And no runlevel 5,
kdm just kept restarting.

I am going to run the program again and let it uninstall and then
restart with the vesa driver and then start again.
