kfontview problem viewing

Hi All,

I notice that I am still having a problem with kfontview: both from the 
command line and with the Settings  --> Font Installer (in the Standard 
Preview window). Simply put: nothing shows up (no characters, just white 
space).

I reported this problem (KDE Bug 170435), but it seems only to affect a few 
people. The maintainer thinks it might be a video card issues (Nvidia GE Force 
8600), but that doesn't seem right, since I can see the characters Gnome 
FontViewer.

Also, the characters show up if I print to a pdf file!

Does anyone here have that problems. Just go to the command line and type:

kfontview /usr/share/fonts/truetype/msttcorefonts/andalemo.ttf

(or any other truetype font).

Can you see anything of the sample text? 

So far, about three people have reported the problem, and everyone else seems 
okay.
