Internal laptop WiFi cards

No, it's not like that. So far as I know, the antenna is a loop of wire, 
wrapped around the inside of the laptop case. Somebody correct me if it's 
more than that.

To connect it to the internal WiFi card, there is a tiny connector crimped 
onto each of two wires, one black, one white. These wires emerge from 
somewhere in the case, into the cavity which also has a connector resembling 
a memory socket for fitting the card.

These wires are way too short in my case to connect them to any card I can 
find other than this Samsung model. If it doesn't work, the only way I can 
see to use another card that is known to work, is to chop and extend the 
wires. I'd rather risk a small sum of money first.

I've no idea whether it will work with Linux, but it should connect.

Will let the list know if it works or not.
