There's always time for that, no need to hurry! :)

I'm also a happy 701 user since a couple of months. I run ubuntu eee on 
the SSD disk and Intrepid 'buntu in both gnome and kde4 flavors on a usb 
HD so far testing both array's kernels - plain and lean - and Ubuntu's 
straight generic. Contrary to what some think, I find that kubuntu kde4 
fits almost nicely and so I was planning to move it to the internal SSD. 
Everything seems to work, but, I wonder, how did you solve some issues 
like the far too high application kmenu (can't recall what it's called, 
right now)?

Also I feel kde4 needs more ram to really rock: did you change it to 1 
or e Gb?
