OK Bruce, but I am right now right in the middle of where I was trying
to avoid. Over and Over I tried to explain the same thing. I
remembered that if I put a more difficult password into my computer, I
would not be able to change back. I did as you said; it did not do what
I asked, and now I have to type the 37 units in to open my computer
instead of 'em'. If I want to make any change requiring root, I have to
type in 37 units to open Root. To use a package manager I have to type
37 units in. And every time I try to type that 37 units in it takes me
several tries, unless I do it slow, and I can't do it slow; the order
gets mixed up. There is a rhythm that helps me remember it. Typing
slow to make sure I don't hit a wrong key causes me to lose my place.
When I had Dragon Naturally Speaking, I could repeat it as fast as I can
say it and it would always work. And now when I want to change it back
to 'em', I can't.

Is it possible to undo what happened when I entered the xhost + and su
entries? Otherwise I am going to have to format. It takes me a long
time to reinstall, reset configurations, get the proper packages and
dependencies back in, and I have some serious problems that require my
computer right now. I will also be out of touch with my family for
several days. It is OK, friend, I will fix it somehow.

Cheers!
Steven
