Akregator problem

While it may seem trivial, I'm having a rather annoying issue with the 
Akregator layout, Regardless of using KDE 4.1.3 or Project Neon's 4.2 
there seems no way to make the columns' position and width stick. They 
simply reset to an impossible to use default, which means I have to 
manually adjust them every time I start the program. Is there something 
one can do to prevent this from happening?
