I believe you're right - though it's a while since I've seen the
message. The problem is -p _doesn't_ fix all errors, and it should have
been done already, so you still need to run "fsck" without -p (and -a
isn't doing anything - it's a synonym for -p).

Your loss if the filesystem is seriously damaged.
