Dear everybody.
About Mid-October I installed Kubuntu 8.10 'from scratch', at an empty
partition. Then, I installed Firefox via K-Menu >> Applications >> "Ad/
Remove software" Adept installer. This worked OK.
In the first two weeks the behaviour of Firefox was a bit strange - e.g.
small letters and images which needed to be adjusted by means of CONTROL+.
But in the mean time, some Firefox related update came in. One of the recent
updates contained an upgrade. So, now I have Firefox 3.04 as well. However
it may be, the browser works fairly well now - at my machine at least .....
I hope this comment is useful for you.
Respectfully Yours,
Bas.
