How do I import my address book from from Thunderbird to Kmail in Hardy?

You see, I did check what Thunderbird version you had, but I forgot 
about extensions. Luckily your above quoted first paragraph rang a bell!
The pretty things I was talking about are due to 
*MoreFunctionsForAddressBook.xpi.*
