Kmail configuration problem.

Thanks for I am confident was great advice. I applied your suggestion,
however, a test email still went to the outbox waiting for a connection.
I get this message:
Sending failed:
Connection to host smtp.att.yahoo.com is broken.
The message will stay in the 'outbox' folder until you either fix the
problem (e.g. a broken address) or remove the message from the 'outbox'
folder.
The following transport protocol was used:
stevenvollom at sbcglobal.net
Do you want me to continue sending the remaining messages?
I clicked on abort.
I am curious should the transport protocol be:
'smtp.att.yahoo.com' and not my email address?
