It depends what you're using for email - if it's not kmail, then it
doesn't use the wallet, but if it is kmail, your passwords are being
stored insecurely (oh, actually, that could have changed in KDE4 - in
3.5 they were stored in kmailrc)
KWallet _does_ need a little training. The first time KMail tries to get
a password from the wallet, you'll be asked if it should be allowed to
access the wallet (just this time, or forever). Then when Konqueror
needs a form password, you'll be asked again, etc.
