Intrepid is what I am interested in, not KDE4. I was told that Intrepid
is far improved in their 64 bit technology.  That is where I am going;
that is what I would like to understand. I will have to learn KDE4
eventually anyway, because I prefer KDE over Gnome (another great
Desktop).

Eventually they work things out so people rave about what they complain
about now. From Feisty to Gutsy, I grumbled a bit. From Gutsy to
Hardy, I grumbled a bit, but after a while I loved the change. I expect
that will happen in KDE 4 too.

The developers are a lot smarter than me. They have a plan for change.
I have noticed that after I learn a new situation, I pretty much stop
comparing it with the former version. Usually the changes are better
and the features I give up are still available, just in a little
different way. Shoot, I get all this stuff free; I can't complain about
anything. If asked, I will give an opinion, but if not asked, I will
just use the new free stuff until I know how it works. Then I will make
a decision of whether to use it or not. But I will never complain.
It's free. Someone is breaking their back to make it better, and for a
nothing like me. I love them.
