How do I import my address book from from Thunderbird to Kmail in Hardy?

I clicked Ctrl+2 and the address book opened.

I found Import and Export in the Tools Menu.  Is vcf a file type like 
.vcf?  I addressed it as Personal Address Book.vcf and it disappeared.  
It was supposed to go into /steven

Right Click what?  I am stopped at this point.  I am sorry to be so
