don't panic, if the heatsink is firmly put on the CPU, it's a far chance
that the CPU will overheat, the heatsink is much more important than the
fan. to make sure if the problem is from the fan or the plug, i'll
assume it's plugged in the plug labelled something like "CPU_FAN" or the
like, try to plug it in another similar plug, there's usually 3 fan
plugs on mother boards, but of course, each manufacturer has it's own
number of plugs, and it's own locations for them. you can try the
"CHA_FAN2" beside the PCI Express slot, just for a few seconds to see if
the fan will run or not. if yes, the plug might be having a problem, if
no, you need to check the fan, see if it's cables are intact, etc..
