Yeah, I knew this was going to happen back when I first tried kde4.0 and saw it
wasn't ready for casual users. KDE 4.0 never should have been released as it
was, and the problem was compounded by kubuntu adopting it. People expect
'releases' to be stable and complete. So you had KDE calling 4.0, kubuntu
adopting it - who woudl think it was in sad a shape as it still it.
Still I use it, I can get by with it, and I'm growing to like some of the
features and improvements but I still miss the ability to do some of the most
trivial things that any .0 or .1, or .1.1 or .1.2, or .1.3 release should
have.
Personally I'd have to agree that 3.5.10 should have been in intrepid with 4
available optionally.
