Eye of GNOME Image Viewer now default "Home"

first of all, this is a KDE-specific list, a better place for your
problem might be the Ubuntu mailing list, not the Kubuntu one ;)
anyways, you might be having this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/274563
