Duh.... :^)

And eventually 4.x will be quite stable, dependable and configurable, and I
will be thrilled, thrilled, thrilled to use it. I will also be grateful to
its developers and all of the early adopters who relentlessly filed bug
reports.

In the meantime, I use Linux to earn a living. I need it to work so that I
can concentrate on administering other people's computers and the network
here. I can't be spending my days getting my own computer to work.

I am typing this in the KDE 4.1 of 8.04. I like the fact that I can try it
from time to time and judge its progress, and explore the differences. I
will not soon be installing Intrepid because I can't switch back to KDE 3.5
when I don't have time to fool around.

In a way, I wish I had more time to play with it. I haven't found a reason to
switch because I haven't found anything I can do better in it. More fooling
around may let me find things like that.

I installed Debian Lenny on my test computer. Once I am comfortable with it
and have it configured, I will make it my production computer. Then I will
upgrade this computer to 8.10 for more exploration.

How about somebody who really likes KDE 4 list some NON-COSMETIC things it
does better than 3.5 that would convince one to switch now?
