Why do people dislike Dolphin?

To be honest, the only reason I dislike Dolphin is that it isn't like
Krusader or Commander, and that I can't find any way of making Krusader
my default file manager (so Dolphin keeps popping up when I don't want
it to do so).  Konqueror and Dolphin (which have a very similar interface) 
are OK as far as they go, but I am happier with Krusader, and that is what 
seems to me to be at the base of the complaints - lack of familiarity.

This goes for the whole of KDE4: its radically different, and the shock
of the new has made those of us used to KDE 3.5 and before, look to the
similarities, which are few and far between.  Its not that Dolphin is
IMHO anyway, a bad file manager, its just that its different.

I have been investigating a number of other distro's "power behind the
Window Manager" and the vest majority seem to be GNOME based.  I used
to HATE the GNOME desktop, but it has improved so much that if KDE4
does not get its act together and making it less radical, I'll guess
I'll be transferring to an Ubuntu based system. (Phew! Now I'll wash my
mouth out with carbolic soap and water.)

I'll still be loyal and try it from time to time, but the Kubuntu
developers have lost this user until they can make KDE4 a viable,
easily usable interface to the desktop for we "old hands".
