URL's in Thunderbird (SOLVED)

Thanks for all the help from everyone. I solved it by adding the strings 
as above to the config list, and it now works.

I don't remember doing that for Gutsy, but it is a while since I 
installed it so I might have forgotten. (I have now put a note in my 
reference book which I keep for all these tips which are so easily 
forgotten).

I wonder why this is not already set up in TB. It is something that I 
use regularly.
