More info.
When I login to tty1 and startkde it errors, but if I startx, then I get
my desktop back.
When I have the original session open, I can open a second, and logout,
then return to the original - on ttys 7 and 9. As \you would expect,
uspect is also u/w atm.
Anyone any other ideas?
I've checked log files, and the usual culprits like X11 and xdmrc all
seem okay.
There must be something wrong somewhere for this behaviour to occur, and
I'd like to raise a bug report with some useful diags.
Thanks.
