Why do people dislike Dolphin?

*sigh* And this is exactly one of those times. Fine, let me spell it out
for you.
P.Daniels wrote, "It's not what folks are accustomed to. You have to learn
stuff. You might even have to Read The Friendly Manual. I'm being
tongue-in-cheek here, but it's true."
I then stated that said people, IE, folks who are not accustomed to
Krusader's display and who are apparently allergic to reading manuals and
actually learning something should toughen up. I then went on to support my
position by pointing out that Krusader's display is a GUIfied version of
Midnight Commander (mc) which in turn is a clone of Norton Commander on DOS.
The ending of my train of thought was that the ironic twist that Norton
Commander was created to simplify the task of file management on DOS.
What that means is that people who are not accustomed to something like
Krusader and refuse to actually learn something by poking at a manual now and
then are apt to shun a tool who's lineage harkens to the simplification of the
task at hand! The fact that the developers of Dolphin are trying to simplify
the process because the simplification is too hard. It is this process of
catering to the willfully ignorant that I feel is a root of many problems and
for which I sometimes feel sticking my head into a drawer and slamming it
closed a few times would be less painful than having to deal with the abhorant
software decisions made to cater to those who are seemingly unwilling to put
forth any effort to becoming productive and saving time in the long run.
Considering I just posted a rather long message describing why Dolphin is
full of fail and Pete's message was in response to me lambasting KDE
developers for choosing to begin development on Dolphin from scratch as
opposed to utilizing an existing, mature and powerful tool in Krusader I am at
a complete loss as to how you could possible consider my statement as bashing
Krusader. There simply is no connection!

Yes it is, unfortunately your name isn't in the to field, scrolled off the
top of my message and I've known several Brendons in my life. No need to get
rude about a simple mistake that's easily corrected.
