KUbuntu 8.10 and Eclipse

Hi,
Since I have install KUbuntu 8.10 (64 bits), when I work with Eclipse, 
sometimes it hangs and take 50% of my computer power. In fact, it seems like 
the GUI does not respond.
Any ideas?
