Adding sudo permissions to additional user

the one thing i found good and unique in (k)ubuntu is the fact that you
don't have a root password. sudo is a much more secure way of managing the
system than root, and also reminds the user constantly of the dangers of
root access. that's not mentioning that it prevents newbies from reckless
root activities.
