I write all my emails in Hebrew as UTF-8, and I've never experienced
that problem, so I don't think that it's saving of UTF-8 characters is
the problem. Do you use sticky keys? If so, that could lead to an
accidental Ctrl-Enter. Load a keylogger to run in the background to
see what you are hitting by accident. Also, if the OP is using a
laptop, be careful not to brush up against the touchpad.
