*I will think about it*, expecially on how to back-up the old router version 
in order to revert (without internet and the router) if things go wrong.
I can probably, given time, get out of most trouble (but I would hate to have 
to go to an internet café to download stuff to rescue my router) ...so I 
carefully avoid to risk any trouble when I don't have much free time ahead.
OTH it is probably safe to download the OpenWrt and read what it says, plus 
read again the docs for my router...and you said it was easy :-)
