Installing and newbies

You shouldn't have _needed_ to comment it out (OK, _I_ comment it out too,
because I rarely actually have a copy of the CD I originally installed from
available).  If you only want something that's newer in the repositories
than on the CD, it shouldn't afaik ask you to insert the CD.
