OT-best linux smartphone

Why not put linux on your phone?  I understand it is one of the more linux compatible units.  Google....

I HATE OT threads, sorry guys, but I'm in need of a new GOOD smart phone, why 
not get one thats linux, as it will replace my trusty zaurus sl5600.
