Cheese problems (Hardy)

I have been playing a little with 'Cheese' (it's a webcam app) and since a recent upgrade 
on Hardy, any video that a make (using the built-in webcam on my Dell Inspiron 1525) plays 
back a 2 or 3 times speed.
I have checked using different players. Previous video clips that Cheese made play at the 
correct speed.

Anybody else notice the same?
