Playing MMS video, where's the bug?

For the first time a web page that doesn't work well in Firefox, works in
Konqueror. Konqueror opened it in kmplayer, after first asking if I wanted
to save or play it.
I assume all you have to do is associate the mms protocol with mplayer or
kmplayer. Now figuring out which about:config setting to add or change is
another matter.
