I felt the same way initially.  But I decided to try the "no root password"
approach, after reading up on it.

Anyway, it's been almost two years and I have adjusted to it.

You might want to try it for a month and see what you think.

After all, if you backslide, you can still do "sudo -i" and have a root
session in that terminal.
