How Do I Get Opera To Work?

I am running an updated gutsy system which is recognised by the Opera
download page as a hardy system. I am running the 64bit distro.
Recently, I discovered there was a 64bit version of Opera available as
a Ubuntu .deb on the Opera download page, so I downloaded it and
installed it, which all went OK, but when I tried to run it, I get this:
******@******-desktop:~$ opera
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libjvm.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded:
ignored. ERROR: ld.so: object 'libawt.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be
preloaded: ignored. /home/******/lib/opera/9.27-20080331.6/opera: error
while loading shared libraries: libqt-mt.so.3: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get Opera to work on my 64bit
Kubuntu hardy setup?
