how to find installed 3rd party debs?

Well actually there seems to be a problem:
when entering in that node I see
the following 
unknown
admin 
alien
base
checkinstall
comm
devel
doc
editors


etc

Now admin, checkinstall and alien contain indeed some of the 3rd party
debs. However I also have installed a modem driver form linuxant, 
which I can find in this node.
