What is the configuration of your computer. Is it new and does it have a 
RTL8102E LAN chip? If so, go here and see the solution.

You can also try and boot the recovery option and fix the xorg at the end of 
the recovery run in case it is a display problem. Just boot recovery option 
and then wait until you get to text where you can run xorg reconfigure.
