First, what's the point of posting a rant obviously in reply to something
that's been posted here, and not including any context.

Second, isn't KDE4 included in Kubuntu 8.04?  Then it's relevant here.

Finally, civility is good, but I see no reason why people can't let off a
little steam.  Complaining here about betas available only from the Kubuntu
or KDE sites (which happened a few times in the Winter) is unreasonable. 
Complaining here about something that isn't even beta quality, but IS
available from the Ubuntu repositories and claiming to be a release version
is certainly relevant.
